The CopernicusLAC Panama Centre Hackathon

The CopernicusLAC Panama Center is organising its first Hackathon, during which participants will have the opportunity to develop solutions to challenges in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region using Copernicus data. In addition to receiving mentoring throughout the event, participants will have the opportunity to win from a total of over 10,000 euros. 

The event will take place in Spanish.

The main objectives of this Hackathon are to boost the reach of Copernicus in LAC countries and to support teams and individuals in contributing solutions to regional challenges. The three challenges of this Hackathon are:

- Challenge #1: Securing food production and distribution

- Challenge #2: Predicting and preparing for future disasters

- Challenge #3: Preserving biodiversity and endangered habitats
