PEDOMETRICS 2026

Under the theme: "Scaling Soil Intelligence: From Digital Mapping to Autonomous Pedology"

PEDOMETRICS 2026 will explore the transformative role of data-driven approaches, interdisciplinary collaboration, and emerging technologies in understanding and managing soils. It will also elaborate the convergence of cutting-edge AI, soil process modelling, bioinformatics, and inclusive practices in transforming the future of soil science. As soil data becomes richer, more dynamic, and more interconnected with global sustainability goals, this conference aims to position pedometrics as the central engine for next-generation soil understanding and decision-making. The conference will also bring together scientists, researchers, and professionals from around the world to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and inspire new directions in pedometric research.

Thematic Clusters:

1. Digital Soil Mapping at Scale

  • ·       Advances in high-resolution mapping using machine learning and remote sensing.
  • ·       Integration of DSM with soil functions, ecosystem services, and sustainability indicators.
  • ·       Pedodiversity and Ecosystem Functions

2. AI in Soil Science
