The broader aim is to bring together professionals and researchers from New Zealand, Australia and internationally who are the main users of artificial intelligence and geospatial data (lab, ground, UAV, satellite). Besides the theoretical machine learning sessions, MIGARS will host a series of applied science sessions on agriculture/horticulture, soil science, forestry, catchment management, land and ocean/water monitoring, geosciences, natural hazards and the mineral sector. We expect 200-300 participants for this 3-day conference.

Submission Guidelines:

Submissions are sought for papers in the form of extended abstracts. Please use the IEEE template provided (LaTeX template is available on request by emailing migars2024@confer.co.nz). The extended abstracts should be two pages and one extra page for references. All submissions are subjected to peer review and feedback will be provided to the Authors. Accepted submissions will be published on IEEE Xplore after the conference.
