6th Space for Water Cycle and Hydrology Workshop: HYDROSPACE 2027

The European Space Agency (ESA), the Centre National d’Études Spatiales (CNES), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the WCRP Global Energy and Water Exchanges project (GEWEX) are organising the next edition of the Space for Water Cycle and Hydrology Workshop, HYDROSPACE 2027, to be held from Monday 1st of March to Friday 5th of March 2027 at the Centre de Congrès Pierre Baudis in Toulouse, France.

HYDROSPACE 2027 aims to review the latest progress in the use of Earth Observation (EO) for advancing hydrology, better understanding the water cycle and its interactions with human activities and ecosystems, including water quality in continental waters, and improving resilience to hydro-hazards such as floods, droughts and other extreme events. The workshop will provide an opportunity to explore the potential of current and upcoming EO missions, advanced modelling and AI capabilities, innovative data-integration techniques, and other emerging technologies.
